pumping problem

A: Baby eats 14-18 oz. of milk for the 8 hours I’m gone.

B: I pump 8-10 ounces in 2 pumping sessions in the 8 hours I’m gone.

C: I have freezer stash, but most of it is at my parents’ house, and I will not get there until this weekend.

D: I will run out of milk this week.

E: I’ve never used formula before for any of my babies.  What do I use? Is this the end of the world as I know it?

Advice needed.

I don’t know but you have my sympathy. Most of my friends who use formula use one of the organics, I think.

I’m sorry. I have had a similar problem at times when my babysitter was here. I ended up using some formula (Earth’s Best).

My peeps have always recommended Baby’s Own, usually available at health food stores.

Give him formula–he’ll still go to Harvard.

recommended amounts of formula for babies up to 1yr is 24-30oz over a 24-hr period, however you divide that up… i have no recommendations on formula. not much help – but i am just happy to share info i learned in my pediatric nursing outpatient experience 🙂

Malka was on Enfamil Lipil. Noah Matan is on Enfamil Lipil. Good stuff, good kids.

I am an organic FREAK, but I’m not as trusting of the organic formulas yet. Enfamil is good stuff, and I trust it.

(NOT a paid spokes person!) 😉
